History of Snowboarding
Have you ever wondered where snowboarding began? Well, compared to the world, snowboarding has not been around for a long time. It started with people such as Jake Burton, and many others who wanted to test out an innovative idea that would allow us to glide across the snow. So here we are, 30-40 years later with no idea of where our favorite sport came from, and now I think it is time that we learn. Take a look at this video and get a clue. Think again! Jeremy Jones & crew recently found a village in Turkey that has been “snowboarding” for over 150 years (The Origin of Snowboarding Discovered).

Hahahaha Thanks for that David, Great article!! That is history right there my friend, and they don’t even care to try out the new boards. I wonder if the big companies will try to take on this style board? Bring it way back. Thanks again, Jon T
