Snowboarding at Okemo, VT
Three weeks ago I the had opportunity to snowboard in Ludlow, Vermont at Okemo Mountain. Okemo is in the heart of Vermont where moose roam freely and wilderness roads will take you to a variety of snowboard wonderlands. With 632 acres of snowboardable freshness spread across 5 different mountain areas, I was able to join up with a few of my good friends and shred this mountain.
With 2,200 feet of vertical drop and a lift capacity of 33,450 riders/hour, Okemo was a blast to ride. I would not say that Okemo is a huge mountain, however it has a great variety and the atmosphere is second to none. If I had a chance to ride Okemo more often, I could Continue reading
