In 2010 a new snowboarding manufacture has hit the streets. Marhar Snowboards opened their doors earlier this year and they are ready to get their name out there. I had the opportunity to meet and talk with Josh and Nate, who are the owners of Marhar, at the The BOB Rail Jam that went down in Grand Rapids, MI. Through new ideas and creative thinking, these boys have came up with a way to make snowboards green, innovative, and exciting. I also have to say that after roaming the streets of the snowboarding, wakeboarding, and wakesurfing industries, Nate and Josh put off a great first impression, and I am pumped to see how these guys will push the sport of snowboarding and the innovation of boards.
The B.O.B in Grand Rapids Michigan is putting on their annual snowboarding competition. The event is open to skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels. There will be tons of live music, free swag and giveaways from sponsors, food, and plenty of fun. Last year this place was off the hook.
